The most basic soba dish is mori soba in which boiled, cold soba noodles are eaten with a soya based dipping sauce called tsuyu. To enjoy, green onions and wasabi are first mixed into the dipping sauce. Then a few strands of soba noodles are taken and dipped into the sauce before being eaten.
